Which interpretation is MoonWorx based on?

The texts are derived from the characteristics of the signs of the zodiac and their elements. The phases of the moon have always been associated with certain characteristics. The MoonWorx lunar calendar is based on general astrological knowledge, which has contributed to the derivation of the texts, and does not correspond to any special interpretation such as that of Paungger-Poppe.

How to behave correctly with daily tips

The following generally applies to all categories: Ask yourself the question “would I like to do this?” – and if yes, then put this activity on a green (= very suitable) or yellow (well suitable) day. If you do it on a day that is marked red (unsuitable), you may achieve the opposite or no success.

Example: cutting hair: If you cut your hair when the moon is waxing, for example, or when the moon is in an air sign (Libra, Gemini, Aquarius), it will grow back particularly quickly. This means that if you want long hair, you should go to the hairdresser on those days when the category “Haircut (fast growing)” is marked in green.

Diet example: Do I want to go on a diet? – If so, then the green days are very suitable for this, as the body does not utilize the nutrients so well, so the pounds tumble more easily. The red days are unsuitable as the body absorbs and utilizes everything it is given, so you will see little success on the scales.

Example: Depilating legs: Do I want to depilate my legs? – If so, then the green days are very suitable for this, as the hair only grows back very slowly and thinner, on the red days it could happen that the hair grows back very quickly and thicker.

What do the body regions mean

Each zodiac sign is assigned to a specific region of the human body, as it is assumed that the moon has a particularly strong effect on the corresponding regions of the body in this zodiac sign. For example, the head and jaw are assigned to the signs Aries and Taurus. A visit to the dentist on these days, for example, is highly unsuitable. Soothing care for these body regions, on the other hand, is particularly well absorbed on days when the body region is active. An example of this is a foot reflexology massage when the moon is in the sign of Pisces.

Which moon phases are calculated?

New moon, full moon, waxing and waning crescent moon

After the new moon there is a waxing moon for about 14 days, and after the full moon there is a waning moon for about 14 days. The crescent moon occurs approximately 7 days after the new moon and 7 days after the full moon.

What are retrograde planets

In western (tropical) astrology, the earth is considered the astrological basis. However, as the planets in our solar system orbit the sun, it sometimes appears from Earth’s perspective that planets are moving backwards. Then one speaks of planets being retrograde.

It is generally assumed that during these periods the energy of the respective planet cannot flow freely and areas of life with which the planet is associated are blocked or impaired.

What does it mean when the planet Mercury retrogrades?

Mercury goes retrograde about three times a year for 20 days each time.

Which areas of life does Mercury represent?

In astrology, the planet Mercury, just like the Roman god Mercury, is assigned the areas of communication and trade. Mercury was the messenger of the gods and the god of traders (and thieves). These areas are also attributed to the planet Mercury. The planet Mercury influences the transmission of messages, communication in general and the mediation between traders and thus trade itself.

What does it mean when the planet Venus retrogrades?

Venus retrogrades about every 18 months for about 40 days.

Which areas of life does Venus represent?

In astrology, Venus – just like the Roman goddess Venus – stands for love and beauty and for femininity. Venus retrograde thus has an effect on interpersonal relationships, on our relationships with women and on our own femininity and beauty, as well as on the beautification of our surroundings.

What does it mean when the planet Mars goes backwards?

Mars goes retrograde between 60 and 80 days approximately every 24 months.

Which areas of life does Mars represent?

In astrology, the planet Mars – as a counterpart to Venus – stands for masculinity. It also influences (action) energy, drive and willpower. These areas are disturbed during Mars retrograde. The motto is therefore: think about your plans, sit back and wait. Wait until Mars is running directly again before implementing this.
